The first year of the very successful all together now festival which was held in Waterford was on last year and this year proves to be no different. With tickets sold out within days of their release 10 months before the festival it has led extra tickets being released. Word spread quickly of just how good this festival this was and how already in its first year it is miles ahead of the others.
We were lucky to be there and only got tickets that week. The fact that we hadn’t heard much about it made it even more epic when we got there and saw what a great setup it is. It is strictly over 21s so there was very little hassle that has unfortunately become associated with more popular festivals live Life and Electric Picnic.
This year acts like the Arctic monkeys are rumored to be playing along with many other local and other Irish artists. All together now are breaking new ground with some other things also. There will be electric bikes available to rent so you can transport your camping supplies aka drink supplies from the car park to the campsite. This is the only draw back about this festival is that it is quite a trek from the car park to the main camping area and you have to go through the whole festival to get there. The electric bike service is done by an Irish electric bike conversion kit supplier so they are also supporting local businesses.
We expect this festival to fast become the number 1 music festival in Ireland and it is actually run by the same promoters who do electric picnic. They decided to do a niche festival and something a bit smaller to keep away the unwanted trouble of the younger generations. Tickets are sold out but they may release another batch soon so keep an eye on their website for more details. We will see you there!
